Matrix SoColor organizes shades as level + reflect letter. Note: Matrix (US market) levels sit one level above the European scale — their 7 equals the European 6.

  • Level (1-11): Color depth. 1 = black, 11 = lightest blonde+.
  • N = Neutral
  • A = Ash
  • G = Gold
  • M = Mocha
  • P = Pearl
  • W = Warm

Reflects also combine in pairs, like RC (red copper) or CG (copper gold): Matrix has no pure copper family, only combined ones. SoColor Pre-Bonded includes BOND technology that protects hair during the coloring process. It is permanent color: lifts, deposits, and covers gray.

The number indicates the level (color depth) and the letter indicates the reflect: N = neutral, A = ash, G = gold, M = mocha, P = pearl, W = warm. Reflects also combine in pairs, like RC (red copper) or CG (copper gold).

Matrix recommends: 3% (10vol) for tone-on-tone, 6% (20vol) for 1-2 levels of lift and gray coverage, 9% (30vol) for 2-3 levels, 12% (40vol) for maximum lift. Always with Matrix Cream Developer.

SoColor Pre-Bonded includes a care complex that protects the internal hair bonds during the color service. It is not a post-color treatment: it works during the chemical process, minimizing damage while depositing color.
