Igora Color Chart: Royal & Vibrance Toner

Igora Royal is ammonia-based permanent color: it lifts, deposits, and covers 100% gray. Igora Vibrance is ammonia-free demi-permanent: it only deposits color, ideal for toning, refreshing, and adding shine. Royal lasts until it grows out, Vibrance lasts 20-25 washes.

Schwarzkopf uses its own reflect system. -5 is gold (in Wella/L'Oreal, .5 is mahogany), -7 is copper (in other brands, .7 is matte), and -6 is chocolate/mahogany. Double digits like -88 or -11 indicate intensified reflects.

Schwarzkopf recommends Igora Royal Developer: 3% (10vol) for tone-on-tone, 6% (20vol) for 1-2 levels of lift and gray coverage, 9% (30vol) for 2-3 levels, 12% (40vol) for maximum lift. For Vibrance, always use the specific Vibrance activator.
